In the story, Marty hides a lot of information from Judd and his family.  How can you lie by what you don't say?  Do you think it is just as bad as saying something that isn't true?

Pre-Reading Post

Write one "I wonder" statement you have about your book.  After you have written your statement, predict when you think you will find the answer to your wondering.  Here is an example from the book Dragon in the Sock Drawer:

"I wonder if Jesse and Daisy will get to keep Emmy without getting caught."

I predict this will happen in the middle of the book (the part when they may get caught) and the end the book will say if they are able to keep her or not.
